Overview
Banff upper hot springs is a developed outdoor pool filled with natural mineral enriched water heated by earth’s crust, pushed to the surface through Sulphur Mountain thrust fault (crack in the earth’s crust).
In winter, the natural water dries up (a fact that still baffles the Scientists) and municipal water is used to fill the pool.
Rain or snow, relax in the soothing Hot springs pool with the modern amenities in the magnificent Canadian Rockies.
