About Calaway Park Calgary

Calaway Park Calgary is Western Canada’s largest outdoor family amusement park.

The park spans 160 acres (operating on 100 acres) and has a collection of over 32 rides including children’s rides, thrill rides and family rides.

The park has been in operation since 1982.

Play one of 23 arcade games.

Have fun watching the live entertainment and stage shows.

Calaway Park LocationThe park is situated on the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, only 10 km West of Calgary on the TransCanada Highway and approximately 25 km from downtown Calgary. There is no direct public transport to Calaway park. Calgary Transit will get you nearer. Take bus route #408 to Canada Olympic Park and take a taxi (10 km) from there.

Locker rental

Stroller rentals at Hudstones Toys & Gifts located inside the entrance area of Calaway Park. Picture ID is required as a deposit.

Wheelchairs are available for rent on a first come, first serve basis in the First Aid Office to the right of the Guest Service office.

Daily in Summer (10:00 AM to 07:00 PM) and Weekends in Spring(10:00 AM to 07:00 PM) and fall. (11:00 AM to 06:00 PM)

Restrooms, Family friendly.Picnic areas are available. Two ATM machines are there in the park.

Strollers, wheelchairs and lockers are available for rent.

Wear comfortable shoes and if you want to go on the water rides, wear clothes that won’t take too long to dry or have a change of clothes in your car.

Calaway RV Park and Campground services range from full service RV sites to basic tenting. Heated washrooms and showers, coin laundry, convenience store, and convenient on-site RV dump station facilities are also available.
