Join us at Strathcona Wilderness Centre for FREE afternoon full of snow fun to celebrate World Snow Day!
Activities include:
– Snow painting
– Snow angels
– Citizen scientist from the University of Alberta’s Canadian ice core lab who will share their knowledge about snow and climate systems (Saturday only)
– Colour ice gems/totems
– Snow forts
– Scavenger hunt on skis/snowshoes (trail pass, ski and snowshoe rental fees in effect)
– Hot chocolate
Dress warmly and bring your family and friend.
