Glacier Skywalk is 1,312-foot long walkway, perched 280 metres above the floor of the Sunwapta Valley, offering unobstructed vistas of the snow-capped mountains and valleys beyond.

From the moment you get down from the coach, walk the 400m trail, offering interpretive displays on the region’s geology, biology, ecology and Aboriginal history.

Walk out onto the glass-floored observation platform and see the awe-inspiring scenery around you from ice-capped mountain peaks to vast glacier-formed valleys.

See shows in the amphitheatre that covers flora and fauna of the Rockies and and the Engineering of the Glacier Skywalk.

How much will it cost to visit Columbia Icefield Skywalk?

Admission
Adults (age 16+): $37 & up
Child (age 6-15): $24.50 & up
Infant (age 0-5): Free

Prices will change day to day based on projected visitation.

Admission includes: shuttle transportation between the Columbia Icefield Glacier Discovery Centre and the Glacier Skywalk, a hand-held audio guide and access to the interpretive walkway and the glass-floor platform.

How to get to Columbia Icefield Skywalk?

Glacier Skywalk Directions and Location:

Glacier Skywalk is located near Columbia Icefield on Icefields Parkway, 1 hour south of Jasper and 2.5 hours north of Banff.

Your ticket includes transportation to Glacier Skywalk. Reach Columbia Icefield Glacier Discovery Centre, from there Board your coach to the Glacier Skywalk.

The Columbia Icefield Skywalk is only accessible by a free shuttle from the Columbia Icefield Discovery Centre.

Shuttles depart every 15 minutes to and fro.
