Events Description
The Bata Shoe Museum is delighted to welcome KPMG as the official sponsor of ACCESS SUNDAYS – a program created to expand access to culture by removing financial barriers. Sharing a collection of nearly 15,000 artefacts with the community, ACCESS SUNDAYS offers everyone interested in visiting the Bata Shoe Museum the opportunity to learn about the fascinating history of footwear through four distinctive exhibitions, as well as participate in entertaining and educational in-person activities, all for free every Sunday.
Celebrate the history of figure skating with us starting Monday. We’re celebrating the launch of our new online exhibition Boots & Blades: The Story of Canadian Figure Skating and we’d love you to join us! See some historic skates up close in our Behind the Scenes gallery, make a fun skate craft, try on funky footwear and play ISpy in the galleries. Be sure to book your tickets in advance here and read all about planning your visit here. We can’t wait to see you!
