Events Description
Celebrate the return of autumn with heritage demonstrations, hands-on activities, garden tours and more! Enjoy interactive activities in the historic kitchen including grinding spices, pounding sugar, making griddle cakes or ice cream. See open hearth cooking, spinning, weaving and quilting demonstrations as well as rope making and grain milling. Child friendly activities include a Barn Bouncer, face painting, a craft zone and lawn games including croquet and graces. Toronto Public Library staff will be on-site to entertain by retelling exciting stories and tales.
