A celebration like never before, and never again!

The Centre for Social Innovation and Toronto for Everyone are ecstatic to present to you – An Honest Farewell: A four-day city festival honouring our beloved bargain basement, Honest Ed’s from February 23 – 26, 2017.

We are coming together as a community to pay homage to the iconic institution which was a place for everyone – and chart the future of Toronto as a place for everyone, where inclusivity is our greatest asset.

The festival will mark the official launch of Toronto for Everyone, a new initiative by the Centre for Social Innovation that invites you to co-create an inclusive and collaborative city with us. The time is now.

An Honest Farewell is being supported by incredible partners including Westbank Corp, SID LEE, Collective Arts Brewing, Shopify, TWG, Now Media and many more.

Box Office: A box office that accepts cash and debit will open on February 14 at Bathurst and Bloor, with limited tickets set aside for all events.

Come in and get lost in your favourite bargain store – and experience the space transformed by multidisciplinary artists, taking you through a wacky journey of the past, present and future of Honest Ed’s and Toronto. Be sure to learn more about the Craft Beer Tour through the Art Maze, on Friday, February 24, from our friends at Collective Arts Brewery!

Special Event! aMAZEment + aMAZEing Craft Beer Tour presented by Collective Arts Brewing and Friends
Friday, February 24th, 2017: 5pm – 10pm (19+ only)

On this special evening, Collective Arts Brewing & Friends will bring together some of Toronto’s best craft breweries for taste testers throughout the immersive art maze. What better way to get lost in Honest Ed’s and art then while sipping finely crafted beer? We have no idea, tell us!

Bargain Bash: The Official Farewell Party – $26.49 (19+)
Saturday, February 25th. Doors open at 9pm.

On this night, we are bringing together some of Toronto’s best DJ’s, bands and parties under one roof for a mini-music festival in Honest Ed’s. Wander around the rooms, and find a sound that brings a rhythm to your hips and hop to your step.

Town Hall for All: Community Hub – Free
Thursday, February 23-Sunday February 26

We carved out a piece of Honest Ed’s and invited organizations and individuals from across the city to come together and foster community and connection through diverse and free programming. It’s a Free for All! Theatre, comedy, ice cream and more — all FREE! Come in and get lost in community, connections and conversations.

Our favourite food, flea and farmers markets across Toronto are coming together to give you one last bargain, Honest Ed’s style! Free entry all weekend.
