Wavelength cuts through the deep freeze to bring you out of hibernation, straight to the 17th annual Wavelength Music Festival. It’s our 17th birthday, and we’re spending the whole Family Day long weekend celebrating! You better catch up on sleep now, as February 17-19 are going to be three whirlwind nights of amazing music and community vibes. We’re back at the Garrison for all of our nighttime programming again this year, and we’re also launching some exciting new daytime events at the Monarch and the Gladstone. Come out and warm up in the collective group hug that is Wavelength, and don’t bother to set your alarm clock for Monday morning!
This year’s festival marks a 17-year tradition of innovation: future-forward and fresh, bringing new, exciting sounds to the city, and #WL17 is no exception. Local heroes. Icons and upstarts. The unsigned and the ready-to-break-big – Wavelength’s winter festival programming looks to capture the most exciting sounds in the Canadian independent music underground in a “live, curated mixtape” with a uniquely handmade vibe.
