Organized by Alpine rafting, the Wapta Falls Wild & Scenic Tours allows its guests to experience Beaver river and Kicking Horse river in a uniquely challenging way – through stand up paddleboarding.

What to Do at Wapta Falls Wild & Scenic Tour?
Against the stunning backdrop of Yoho and Kootenay National Parks enjoy challenging stand up paddle-boarding along the Beaver River. Paddle along the river to its terminus above the Wapta Falls. Upstream of Wapta Falls provides amazing photo op moments with the Mount Chancellor on the east and the mighty Wapta Falls on the west. Traverse the historic portage trail to below the falls and further along downstream to the Kicking Horse River. Paddle along quiet waters, navigate class 1 & class 2 rapids, move upstream and downstream and more. Watch out for deer, elk, wolf, moose, bald eagles along the way.

Tour Cost: ~$145/person
Tour begins in Golden, BC. When you get to Golden, Alpine rafting is on the very first exit at the top of the Golden Hill. Follow the signs to the BC Visitor Info Centre and take the first exit.

Amenities & Other Information
You will be provided with Stand Up Paddleboard (10 or 11.5-foot inflatable stand-up paddleboards), Paddle and all necessary gear.
This tour is only for the physically fit aged 16+.
