About Polar Bears by Tundra Buggy Tour
This tour organised by Frontiers North explores the wild tundra landscape in a specially designed all-terrain Tundra Buggy vehicle providing optimal photography opportunities and wildlife viewing.
You can see many wildlife along this trip – caribou, beluga whales, wolves, polar bears, red and arctic fox, moose, Ross’ gulls and more.

Tundra Buggy Day Tours take place in a 40-passenger Tundra Buggy®. This is an good option for Churchill visitors who have planned their own travel and accomodation. Hear expert interpretation on Churchill Wildlife Management Area while learning more about the flora and fauna as well as the history of Churchill. You will also get to discuss the effects of tides, currents and ice formation on polar bear.
Visitors may also spot caribou, arctic hare, arctic and red fox, gyrfalcon, various migratory birds and much more depending on the season.

Pick up and drop-off at Fifty Eight North – Home of the Tundra Buggy at 124 Kelsey Boulevard, Churchill
Autumn Tundra Buggy Tours: mid October – mid November
Guests will be picked up at their accommodations in Churchill and transferred to the Tundra Buggy Launch Area. Drop-off at Fifty Eight North.
Winter Tundra Buggy Tours: Evenings in February/March
