What to Do at The Best of the Arctic Tour?

Tour Itinerary

Your journey starts on the Winnipeg-Naujaat flight. Go on a tour of the hamlet and the surrounding area learning about the story of life in the arctic, learn why its named Bay of Repulse. Here, you go on a hike to view wildlife and later visit the local Thule people. Explore the tundra landscape and immerse yourself in the beauty of the area. You will also get time to do local shopping. Naujaat people are known for the beautiful soapstone carvings.

Spend time exploring, admiring and appreciating the amazing ecosystem of this region. Participants who wish to visit the Eskimo museum and Parks Canada museum are free to explore these attractions. Enjoy whale watching, dog-carting, explore Fort Prince of Wales.
