What to Do at Royal Aviation Museum of Western Canada?
The museum features a number of displays of civilian and military aircrafts. Tour the unique circa-1930s aircraft hangar, see the vintage bush planes and northern workhorses, spend time at the flight deck. Learn more about the history of aviation in Canada through art and photographic exhibits in the galleries and the changing exhibits. Kids can enjoy the children’s area located on the second floor.
In addition, the museum also conducts various educational hands-on science experiments and activities specifically catered to the student curriculum.
The museum conducts many popular holiday themed events including: our “Egg-cellent, Egg-stravagant, Egg-citing, Easter Egg Hunt” for Easter, “Haunted Hangar”, and “Flyin’ Barbeque” in summer.
The museum be rented for birthday parties, weddings and other private events.
