Christmas Lights at Spruce Meadows: Enjoy Christmas Season magic with a quarter of a million lights, blanketing Spruce Meadows from west to east. The 2 kilometre drive through the grounds includes Tournament Lane, The Courtyard, Traffic Circle, the Nations Flag Park, Congress Hall, Riders Chapel and the Pond with strings of lights measuring nearly 80 kilometres. 1. High Performance Rodeo

The High Performance Rodeo, Calgary’s International Festival of the Arts, is an annual festival that animates the city in January with an array of live performances from around the world. Featuring theatre, music, dance, and multidisciplinary art, ‘The Rodeo’ is a showcase of the best in contemporary performance. Details

2. Reefer Madness

This satirical cult classic, based on the 1936 propaganda film of the same name, takes a darkly comedic look at the politically-charged topic of marijuana use. There’s no place to hide from this salacious magic carpet ride! Details

Plunge into Swimming The Seas Of Failure with Loose Moose alumni and Australian trained stand up comic Jasmine Fairbairn at her solo show for one night only. Details

4. Henry Rollins

In describing Henry Rollins, the tendency is to try to squeeze as many labels as possible into a single sentence. “Rollins is many things,” says the Washington Post, “diatribist, confessor, provocateur, humorist, even motivational speaker…his is an enthusiastic and engaging chatter.” Entertainment Weekly’s list includes “Punk Rock icon. Spoken word poet. Actor. Author. DJ. Is there anything this guy can’t do?” TV Guide has more concisely called him a “Renaissance Man” but if Henry Rollins could be reduced to a single word, that word would undoubtedly be “workaholic.” When he’s not traveling, Rollins prefers a to keep a relentless schedule full of work, with gigs as an actor, author, DJ, voice-over artist and TV show host to name a few of the roles that keep his schedule full. 1. Reyes (Spanish Christmas) Celebration

Come enjoy the end of the Christmas season with España en Calgary / the Calgary Spanish Association at our Spanish-style Reyes celebration. We will have a buffet dinner, including a typical Spanish dessert. There will be a cash bar, and the opportunity to dance after the dinner. We are also expecting a surprise visit from the Three Wise Men to present the youngsters with a gift. Details

The 2017 Motorcycle Show – Calgary, presented by Dalton Timmis Insurance, is the Canadian Motorcycle and ATV industries’ official showcase of all the new 2017 makes and models. Featuring the latest products, services and accessories direct from the manufacturers. In addition the Motorcycle Show – Calgary will feature SHE Rides on Friday January 6th, an extreme MX Freestyle Show, the Yamaha Riding Academy for kids ages 6 through 12, a variety of retailers, riding clubs and associations, celebrity racers, informational displays, and a vintage motorcycle display.
