1. 2017 Saskatoon New Year Celebration Gala
In celebration of the Year of the Roaster on the Chinese Lunar Calendar, the Saskatoon Chinese Artist & Musician Alliance and the Confucius Institute at the University of Saskatchewan will jointly stage a unique showcase entitled “2017 Saskatoon New Year Celebration Gala” This is the third time we are providing a stage for the local Chinese residents to show their performing talent to their fellow Canadians and to celebrate the new year.
2. Trees of Christmas Past Exhibit
Vintage trees made of dyed turkey & goose feathers, wood, “bottle brush”, nylon or aluminum is what you’ll see when you visit the WDM this holiday season.
3. Sanatorium Site Bird Walk
We will walk through the former Sanatorium site portion of Holiday Park to look for early arriving winter songbirds. This park is one of five naturalized parks in the city which is managed to promote a diversity of wild birds and mammals.
