What is it ?

About Gasoline Alley Museum

A vintage car museum which houses extensive antique car and memorabilia collection is part of the  Heritage Village historical park located on 127 acres  of parkland on the banks of the Glenmore Reservoir, along the city’s southwestern edge. In March 2009, the collection which was previously housed in the Burns Barn in the main park, was moved to the Heritage Town Square as part of a major expansion.Many artifacts were donated by local Calgarian Ron Carey.

See the vintage cars! Its  an interactive museum that features a good collection of one-of-a-kind vintage vehicles and oil and gas related artifacts.

Have fun climbing into old cars and take pictures!

 See the Heritage Town Square which represents a prairie urban streetscape from the 1930s to 50s. It is situated in the Admission area. ( the part of Hertage park that is free admission)

Shop for Vintage gifts at  Haskayne Mercantile Block

Have lunch or dinner at the Selkirk Grille, or coffee and a sandwich at the Railway Café.

In Winter, the Heritage Town Square and the Museum is open. So during Christmas time, there is Santa Claus, a Christmas market , and carol singing in the town square, which is decked with traditional Christmas decorations.

Gasoline Alley museum is located just 20 minutes from downtown Calgary at 1900 Heritage Dr. S.W. Shuttle service is available from the Heritage LRT. Check Calgary transit route 502.
