Horseback Riding In Banff National Park

Horseback riding is a Late spring to Early fall activity. Exact time is weather dependent.

 

1. Holiday on Horseback (Banff)

Restrictions : Maximum weight limit 250lbs & riders should be older than 6 years.

Pony rides for children ages 3-5yrs of age on a first come first serve basis for $20.00 for 15 minutes.

Warner Stables and the Spray River Corrals.

1. Cookouts

Ride along Sulphur Mountain and along the Bow River to the covered location at 3 Mile Cabin by Sundance Canyon Trail on Horseback or on covered wagon and have Lunch or dinner. Advance reservations necessary.

Cowboy Cookout – Dinner:

Horseback : $149
Adult Covered Wagon :$99/person
Youth (4-12yrs) in the Covered Wagon : $84.00 (must be accompanied by an adult)
3 years and under: Free in the wagon with an adult.

The riders should be eight years of age or older and a minimum of 52" tall. The riders should be 10 years or older and should have previous experience for The Plain of Six Glaciers and longer rides.
