Museum of Natural Sciences
What to do: Providing an outline of evolution throughout geological time, the Museum has various displays of fossils, minerals and rocks, animals and plants. Learn about air-breathing fishes, swimming reptiles, flying reptile and more including plants, geology. There is also a working seismograph on display in an adjacent hallway.

Western Development Museum
What to do: A must visit place for history buffs. Visitors to the Saskatoon WDM are transported back to the 1910s. At the Boom Town, you can see actual buildings from the era including a police station, a newspaper office with working printing press, a dentist’s office to name but a few- all kept in a climate-controlled environment. WDM has various exhibits describing various aspects of Saskatchewan history. Meet the Worthys family – a Saskatchewan farm family in Winning the Prairie Gamble. Meet Nellie McClung and Violet McNaughton – two women who were influential in the suffrage movement. You can also find collections of vintage automobiles and farm equipment.

Museum of Antiquities
What to do: The Museum of Antiquities houses replicas and original pieces of various civilizations. You can experience the artistic traditions of both the Western civilizations including Greek and Roman and the more recent collections from ancient Near East and Egypt.

Duck Lake Historical Museum

Nutrien Wonderhub
Nutrien Wonderhub is the province’s first and only children’s museum. (Previously the Children’s Discovery Museum.)

Marr Residence
What to do: Built by Alexander Marr in 1884, the Marr Residence is the oldest house in Saskatoon. The residence is currently owned by the City of Saskatoon and features various exhibits about the history of Saskatoon and its settlers. There is also a beautiful garden to enjoy.

Ukrainian Museum of Canada
What to do: This Preserving and honoring Ukrainian culture, this museum showcases records from Ukrainian immigrants to Canada, Ukranian schoolbooks, their textiles, tools, wooden carvings, postoly and many more.
Tours are available at the Ukrainian Museum of Canada throughout the year. Tours must be booked at least three weeks in advanced, and the tours last approximately 1 hour.

Royal Canadian Legion, Nutana Branch
What to do: Artifacts from the World War I, World War II, the Korea and Gulf Operations can be seen here. The museum not only honors military people, but also peacekeepers in Canadian history.

Diefenbaker Canada Centre
What to do: Located on the University of Saskatchewan campus, Diefenbaker is a cultural, historical and educational institution. The museum preserves the collections representing the life and times of John G. Diefenbaker. The museum also holds educational programs, several international and national exhibitions.The museum also holds virtual exhibitions.

Saskatchewan Indigenous Cultural Centre
What to do: Everything you want to know about culture, language, arts and history of First Nations people can be found at the Cultural Centre.

University of Saskatchewan Observatory
What to do: Want to see planets, nebulae, star clusters, galaxies, comets? The Observatory at the U of S has a 3 meter long refracting telescope that can be used to view the night sky on clear Saturday nights. How about a tour of our solar system? Want to know more about black holes? Learn more on the celestial objects at the museum Observatory.

Station Arts Centre
What to do: Rosthern’s old Railway depot has been renovated and turned into the current Station Arts Centre. It still retains the original mansard roofing, one of the few such left in the province. If you are fascinated with trains, you would surely enjoy a visit to this place. Enjoy a touch of history with art. The centre celebrates musical concerts to theatre performances which are highly popular in the community. The centre also has an art gallery which conducts various programs for young artists. The Station’s tea room is a popular lunch time destination for locals and tourists alike.
