Where: base of the Peterborough Lift lock near National Historic Site Visitor Centre. You will see canoes near the banks. Parking available at the centre.
If you do not have a car, there are public transit options (Go Transit/Bus from Oshawa Go Station/Grey Hound + Peterborough Transit). So do not let car troubles or green living prevent you from having this amazing experience.
