1-Hour Horseback Trail Ride in Kananaskis

Prepare for a real rustic Alberta mountain adventure at Boundary Ranch! Discover the breathtaking scenery of the Kananaskis Valley on horseback along the 1-hour Buffalo Loop. Journey into remote boreal forests and enjoy the serenity of the backcountry with friendly and professional guides. Trail rides are suitable for riders of any level, and no previous experience is required.

Our one hour Buffalo Loop is an ideal introduction to horses and trail riding. Relax and enjoy the scenery as you travel through the wooded terrain surrounding Boundary Ranch. Your ride will pass by our Buffalo Paddock with our Bull and his cows along with last years calves and maybe even a new addition from this spring! As you wind your way through the forest, you might even see some other wildlife on our trails, so keep your eyes open for squirrels, marmot, deer, elk and more! You will pass by our Teepee Village with one of the Teepees that was in the Movie The Revenant,starring Leonardo DiCaprio.
