11th Annual Stampede Chili Cook-Off

Dust off your cowboy hats & taste buds and put your bucks where they count! Five bites of chili can make a big difference and help stomp out hunger.

C’mon down to the Calgary Farmers’ Market on July 12th & 13th from 11am – 3pm*, make a cash/credit donation to the Calgary Interfaith Food Bank to try the 5 mouthwatering chilis, then vote for your favourite!

You’ll be helping to crown the winner of their 11th Annual Stampede Chili Cook-off and be entered to win a gift basket filled with goodies from the Market.

This year’s competing chilis are from:

– Big T’s Smokehouse
– Frank and Mabel’s Gourmet Hot Dogs & Frozen Treats
– Hearts Choices
– Silver Sage Grill
– Stock and Sauce Co.

Tune into their Facebook Live on Friday, July 12th at 11am to see their panel of local food-loving judges devour the 5 chilis and hear their thoughts.

The Calgary Food Bank’s Put the Boots to Hunger campaign raises important food and funds through the Stampede season, at a time when it is typically slower for donations.
