Events Description
While students and parents get ready for back to school, many businesses will also see their employees returning to the office. With all of those changes in mind, a return to normalcy and a sense of being “back to life” is in the air. In celebration of this return to our normal routines, Southcentre will be hosting a special campaign in partnership with a number of local artists. From August 27-29, shoppers who meet a minimum spending threshold of $200 at mall retailers will be able to pick up a bespoke reusable tote bag, customizable to their specifications. Guests will be able to choose the colour of their bag, as well as a unique design from a selection created by four local artists.
New designs will be available on each of the three days between August 27-29, making each day’s offerings totally unique. Artists include local creator Jessica Armas Noda, Indigenous artist Tamara Shepherd, designer/illustrator Adela Residovic, and Calgary’s Matte Black Design Studio. More details about the artists and previews of the daily designs can be found here: https://www.southcentremall.com/event/back-to-school-at-southcentre/.
To participate, simply show your same day receipts totaling $200 or more to the Guest Service desk to get your tote bag token. Then redeem your token at the printing booth located at Centre Court for a free tote bag featuring exclusive designs by local artists.
