BioBlitz – Weaselhead

A BioBlitz brings together expert naturalists, scientists and citizens to inventory as many plant and animal species as possible in one day. This event is one of several BioBlitz events happening across the country this summer. Sign up, meet us at the Weaselhead Natural Area (66 Ave & 37 St SW) and head out into the field with an expert to try and identify as many species as possible!
In addition to the species blitzes, we will have a community biodiversity fair. Come learn about the plants and animals who make their home in Calgary and area.

No need to sign up to attend this, just show up!

This fair is family friendly and everyone is welcome!

Who is it for?

Children must be at least 10 years old and accompanied by an adult.

Free but registration is necessary for blitz sessions.

Blitz sessions run through out day starting at 6:00am. The Biodiversity Fair runs from 10:00am – 3:00pm
