“The Event Group was born in Calgary in 1997. We have been fortunate to succeed here and given the chance to grow across Canada, but our community needs our help now more than ever. Through the years, we have seen challenging times, but not like now with COVID-19 and our struggling economy. These charities need our support and seven talent musicians have agreed to lend their talents and we know Calgarians will rally and donate to the cause. “stated David Howard founder of Calgary Heat Beats and President of The Event Group.
Calgary Heart Beats is the first in a series of concerts planed for cities across Canada. Heart Beats is a concert series, with a focus on showcasing musicians from their respected hometowns in support of their local economy. “Canada is fortunate to have so many talented musicians who are willing to lend their voice to help the cities they grew up in. Many of the Live Stream events focus on the Global pandemic, whereas Heart Beats focuses on providing support locally. “stated Howard.
