Events Description
The Calgary Walk for Muscular Dystrophy is an annual community event and fundraiser in support of persons with neuromuscular disorders. Event activities include: 1km walk, BBQ served by the Calgary Fire Department, outdoor games, face painting, mascots, science crafts, disability resource booths, silent auction, 50/50, and so much more. Admission is free, and all are welcome to attend.
All proceeds from this special event help to provide essential medical and mobility devices to Muscular Dystrophy Canada clients, as well as furthering medical research in pursuit of finding a cure for MD.
