Events Description

Call of the Wetland is a citizen science program that aims to engage Calgarians to learn more about wetlands in their neighbourhoods. We are looking for volunteers to help monitor amphibian species in Calgary storm water ponds and wetlands. There are evening surveys and day time surveys available at 60 local wetlands and all observations can be submitted easily through the Call of the Wetland app. You can go once or many times depending on your personal schedule (see app for survey availability). No experience is necessary, this is a great activity to do with a friend, a date or kids.
