Events Description
This fun-filled salute to agriculture includes hands-on activities, live entertainment, games and a variety of demonstrations.
Try your hand at making rope, churning butter and hand-cranking old-fashioned ice-cream. Spin your partner round at a barn dance and visit the critters at the Butterfield Acres petting zoo. Gather a team and compete in the Kickback Challenge. Complete a series of fun activities including a bucket brigade and egg find for your chance to win great prizes!
Enjoy lively entertainment throughout the day, courtesy of the Chinook Country Line Dancers and the Prairie Mountain Fiddlers.
Watch antique steam-powered farm equipment at work threshing and baling in the wheat field, and don’t miss the wheat grinding demonstrations, slow tractor races and a beautiful display of work by the Chinook Guild of Fibre Arts.
