Events Description
Let’s celebrate life!
Day of the Dead is a special holiday throughout Mexico. Known locally as Día de Muertos, this annual tradition is to remember and honour deceased family members.
There is a belief that during this time the dead people come closer to be with those of us who are living.
The parade displays some of the beautiful ancestral traditions of Day of the Dead. Mictlan Art & Research collective will do a couple of performings along the route. Also, we will have a male mariachi singing some songs during the parade.
Expect large skeleton puppets, catrinas, skulls, traditional dancers, and Mexican music.
