Downtown Calgary and The Calgary Gay History Project invite you to explore the area’s unique LGBTQ2S+ past and present.

Downtown Calgary and The Calgary Gay History Project invite you to walk through the city core with Guide Kevin Allen to explore the area’s unique LGBTQ2S+ past and present during Calgary Pride Week. The tour will inspire a deeper understanding of the community’s struggles and activism in Calgary and highlight significant political and social events that affected the gay community. On the way, tour guests will pass by several former watering holes where Calgary’s LGBTQ2S+ community gathered.

Meeting Place: Hyatt Regency Calgary (700 Centre Street SE) 8th Avenue Entrance.

We ask that you please wear a mask while on the tour. Tickets will be limited to 25 guests per tour to allow for physical distancing.

Please wear comfortable walking shoes and dress for the weather.
