Enkindle: to cause to IGNITE; to make BRIGHT and GLOWING.
In partnership with the Calgary Central Library, please join us for Enkindle, a fun filled family event focused on inspiring children and empowering communities. With interactive performances throughout the afternoon, Enkindle hopes to connect families, ignite community and spark resilience.
Through music, mindfulness, and the magic that happens within the heart of community, an amazing group of dedicated Calgary organizations are collaborating to inspire every child to dream, and empower every adult to be the champion all kids need.
FEATURING:
Concert by Juno nominated children\’s anthem maker and folk singer, Ginalina.
COLLABORATORS [aka COMMUNITY CHANGE MAKERS] :
Yoga and mindfulness practice with the fierce children\’s mentors and mental health advocates, Orenda Society and Wymbin Yoga
Traditional Jingle and fancy dance with the amazing Young Pine Family
High energy community drum circle with Circles of Rhythm.
Larger and brighter then life art exhibit by Calgary Party 50.
Interactive children\’s art by the amazing Mousse Children\’s Art Studio
Children and Youth Engagement with The Skate Association
And the amazing youth volunteers from Youth Central YYC supporting us for the entire afternoon.
