Events Description

In this workshop, you will learn all of the steps needed to create your own naturally fermented cabbage sauerkraut at home! We will show you how to prepare, cut, mix, ferment and preserve your sauerkraut safely. You will also learn about the history and the health benefits of sauerkraut.

We will send each participant home with a Sauerkraut Making Kit. Just add cabbage! No refunds will be issued unless the event is cancelled by Heritage Park.

If you wish to enhance your experience, you can make an advance reservation for dinner at The Selkirk after the workshop, and you will receive a 10% discount for your meal. Our Austrian Chef Tobias will be creating a special dish that evening to complement the workshop.
