Get Outside and Play Week

This special week encourages adults to jumpstart outdoor nature play with their wee ones because outdoor play is good for children and connects them with nature.

Everyone is invited to Get Outside and Play! It’s for kids (0-6 years old) along with their parents, aunts, uncles, grandparents, teachers, child care providers and anyone with youngsters in their life. Please join in celebrating the fun and adventures that children have outdoors, by registering at getoutsideandplay.ca – it’s free, and you get great resources like kid friendly hikes and how to make a pinecone weather station. Plus, you’ll be entered to win terrific prizes. We’re starting a Get Outside and Play movement; start spreading the word (#getoutsideAB).
