Events Description
Learn the science of identifying animal tracks. Ever wonder what animals are around when you’re on the trails? This is an amazing and unique outdoor skill to share with your hiking friends. Taking up hunting or trapping or just have a love of nature? This course concentrates on the science of track pattern identification rather than print shape so even tracks in powdery snow with no print visible can be identified. Instructed by a professional with over a decade of experience tracking animals for government projects. We’ll cover techniques, specifics on regional species and even touch on other types of animal sign. One day on Zoom and one day in the field. You wont even realize your getting exercise!
