Events Description
Our doors are open and for a limited time we are offering intimate and private indoor tours. In order to support safety, guided tours will be offered on a limited schedule in keeping with physical distancing. Space on each tour is limited to 6 people, and masks must be worn in order to participate in the tour.
Come see the House in a truly intimate and private way. On your guided tour you will learn about the history of the House, the people who occupied it and some of the behind-the-scenes stories we learned from researching the process of restoring the building over 15 years ago. At the end of the tour there will be time to access our most recent exhibit, Storied City: Early Calgary Through The Eyes of Writers. Our Shop will also be open if you’re inspired to pick up a book or bath products containing flowers from our Gardens so that you can continue your experience at home.
Note: wearing a mask is mandatory for everyone visiting Lougheed House (in compliance with the City of Calgary Face-Coverings Bylaw). If you do not have a mask, you can purchase one at our Shop immediately upon entering the House.
To complete your experience, book a reservation for Brunch on our outdoor restaurant patio either before or after your tour, courtesy of Chef Judy Wood.
Cleaning protocols will be fully exercised between tours with ongoing touch point cleaning occurring during tours on a loop through the House.
Please note that once all tour spots are claimed we will not be able to admit any more guests to Lougheed House on a given day. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we reopen our doors in a safe and considered manner.
