Events Description

In this exciting, season-opening concert, we revisit Malcolm Forsyth’s wonderfully colourful work Hesperides as part of a Forsyth symposium that weekend. The piece is written for two harps and set to suggestive poetry on the universal topic of love. Gianetta Baril and Scott Ross-Molyneux are our guests for this concert, which will feature music by Swedish composer Sven-David Sandström, Fauré, Holst, Swiss composer Antognini as well as Canadian Leonard Enns. We will also premiere a new work by Calgary composer Scott Ross-Molyneux for choir and harp.
