Shelter Cocktail Bar is pleased to welcome back Chef Chris Picek who will be popping up at Shelter’s kitchen for residency from October 8th to December 31st, serving delicious and tasty Spanish Tapas. Chris was formerly the head chef at Il Sogno in Calgary where he garnered critical acclaim from clients and local media alike, and most recently the Head Chef at Tapas Bodega in Canmore, where he helped redefine what a tapas restaurant can be.
Prepare your tastebuds for the likes of braised chicken with fresh chanterelles, Chioggia beets with manchego and Honeycrisp apple, and a delicious clover honey parfait for something on the sweeter side, as well as a weekly rotating selection of dishes.
Chef Chris Picek will be cooking Thursday/Friday/Saturday during these weeks.
