PARK(ing) Day

PARK(ing) Day is an annual event held in Calgary (and around the world!) where artists, designers and citizens collaborate to transform parking spots into a creative use of public space for all to enjoy.

This event is meant to prompt us all to think about how shared public spaces in the city are used, and to spark our imaginations about what a spot as small as 2.4m x 6m could be if it wasn’t, well, street parking. This is a free event and all ages are welcome.
