Kick your summer off with a dose of creativity at the Leighton Art Centre, meeting some of our artist members in person, exploring our natural foothills mountain-view property, and hopefully taking home a wonderful new piece for your collection!
Local artists will be on site outdoors, presenting their original artworks for sale, between 10 am and 4 pm Saturday June 26th and Sunday June 27th. Inside the Leightons’ heritage home, you’ll discover over one hundred pieces of unframed art from our Clothesline Online Art Sale, as well as our featured exhibition What A Difference A Day Makes in the Main Gallery, and a great selection of art and fine craft in the Gallery Shop. Bring the whole family (except Fido) and show your support for our local artists. Explore our 80-acre property, choose your favorite view, make some art en plein air and enjoy one of the best picnic spots in Alberta!
Admission by donation. No smoking, alcohol, or dogs are allowed on the property. Please plan ahead to take out your own garbage and recycling; we so appreciate it!
COVID-19 Restrictions: All guests must wear a mask when exploring the market and interacting with the pop-up artists vendors. Masks are also required while visiting inside the main art gallery, gallery shop and museum. Once guests are out exploring the Leighton Art Centre property with their own cohort, mask wearing is not required.
