If you don’t know his name, you should. Steve Hackman is one of the most innovative artists contributing to a new landscape in classical music. With impeccable training and a brilliant musical imagination, his performances have been acclaimed as “in a class of [their] own.” He conducts Brahms’ First Symphony, which is the source material for his boundary-shattering Brahms v. Radiohead project, featured in concert on 9 March.
