The Slocan Ramblers open the night with their bluegrass, rooted in a fine tradition, but with their youthful and fresh approach providing a bold, dynamic sound.
Old Man Luedecke, the recording name of two-time Juno-award winning, singer-songwriter/banjo player Chris Luedecke, is firmly established in the top echelons of Canadian folk artists and brings equal measures of talent and fun to his shows. “If I can end my set with a song about sardines, and feel like I’ve done a pretty good show, that’s kind of what I live for,” Chris says.
