Virtual Run Bowness

Run Bowness 2021 is a virtual race brought to you by the community of Bowness. Support the work of the Bowness Community Association to build a stronger Bowness, receive awesome gifts from local businesses, compete for prizes, and build towards your personal fitness goals at this Bowness tradition. Prizes will be awarded to the top finishers in the Women’s 5k & 10k, the Mens 5k & 10k, and the Kids Mile

Run Bowness has been an institution in Bowness for over a decade, and COVID-19 will not stop us from bringing the race to you in the safest way possible. Thank you to Servus Credit Union for sponsoring Run Bowness 2021.

What is a virtual race?

A virtual race is one that you can run at any location (we recommend the beautiful pathways of Bowness!) and at your own pace. Start training now to complete your run on Sunday June 6 to be eligible for awesome prizes. Use any running or fitness app you like to submit your times to the race coordinator to compete for the fastest 5k, 10k, or kids mile, as well as other categories like Best Dressed and Best Photos.
