Hosted by VegFest Calgary, YYC Vegan Week is a chance for restaurants and patrons alike to experience the rapidly growing plant-based global movement.
YYC Vegan Week is a week long event where participating restaurants showcase their top plant based dishes and patrons are able to vote for their favourites! $1 from every meal sold will go toward supporting VegFest Calgary, an annual non-profit food and lifestyle festival.
For the first annual YYC Vegan Week in 2019, people were able to experience the restaurant environment and enjoy a new dish with friends. Given the current global and local circumstances, we wanted to adapt this experience to happen through a safe and creative way at home! With the potential lifting of restrictions in the restaurant industry end of May, some contestants may also offer a safe dine in experience. We will keep you posted as the news unfolds.
