Where are the Children? Healing the Legacy of the Residential Schools is a powerful travelling exhibition by the Legacy of Hope Foundation that explores the history and consequences of the Residential School System in Canada with the goal of contributing to the healing and understanding required for reconciliation. Through Survivor stories and archival photographs the exhibition covers over 125 years of history, transitioning through the stages of a child leaving home to arriving at school and participating in class activities. It provides a wide range of perspectives, from stories about the children who never returned home to contemporary Indigenous role models. This exhibition was curated by renowned Iroquois artist Jeff Thomas.
