Family Fun Zone – Outdoor Multi-Sport Facility (104 Street and 99 Avenue)
Saturday, February 19 (2:30 – 4:30 pm)
- Family Fun Skate featuring a Story Skate presented by the Morinville Community Library.
- Bring your skates and helmets and enjoy a fun afternoon skate. Follow the posted story as you skate and increase your family’s literacy skills.
- Free hot chocolate (while supplies last)
- Live Snow Sculpture Building Contest
- Come build a snow sculpture for a chance to win a prize. Bring your own materials or make use of some of the great materials provided.
- Free maple taffy from ACFA (while supplies last)

Evening Glow Up the Night Skate Party – Outdoor Multi-Sport Facility (104 Street and 99 Avenue)

Hybrid Screening of SMALLFOOT- Morinville Community Cultural Centre (9502 100 Avenue)
Sunday, February 20 (2:00 pm)
- Because of generous donations from Putnam Law LLP and Morinville Sobey’s, you are invited to enjoy a free screening of Smallfoot at the Morinville Community Cultural Centre (MCCC) or from the comfort of you own home. Check back soon for registration details!

Family Day Unplug to Connect

- To honour Family Day we are challenging you to disconnect from electronics and reconnect with family. Whether outdoors or in, daytime or evening, Morinville Family & Community Support Services (FCSS) hopes you’ll disconnect from your devices – TV, computer, smart phones, video games, etc. – and connect with yourself, your family and your community.
- From February 11, 2022 to Friday, February 25, 2022, submit a photo of your tech-free time here to be entered to win a Candid Family Mini Session from Silverlight Studios Photography valued at $200.00.
