Christmas and New Year are approaching and it’s time to pick events and concerts to celebrate the season. EKOSingers hopes you will join us as we present “Home for Christmas”.
The group brings a tight urban vocal sound with jazz, gospel and pop styles. Like so much of what we enjoy at Christmas – our City Hall concert is a tradition. For over 25 years EKOS’ has presented this unique gift that’s a blend of fun, hospitality (did we mention spiced cider?), our musical styles and those of our special guests.
EKOSingers’ season of giving begins at City Hall and continues as we perform several more concerts and sing-alongs at seniors’ facilities and Community Christmas parties around the city.
This year we will be joined by “Saint André Children’s Choir”, who are students attending Academie Saint André Academy in Beaumont.
Performing with EKOSingers again is the Studio ‘B’ Saxophone quartet who wowed our audience last year in their accompaniment and their own performance numbers.
A tradition carried on by EKOSingers is the wassail ceremony incorporating a traditional song, sharing spiced hot apple cider and a toast. This year the toast will be offered by master of ceremonies Jim Dearden.
Age category: All ages
Tickets cost: The concert is free, and food bank donations will be gratefully accepted.
