Scarlett Butler
Originally songwriters for other country artists, Troy Kokol and Joni Delaurier had solo careers before meeting at a songwriting event in Calgary and coalescing as Scarlett Butler. Prolific songwriters, they went to Nashville and wrote Shane Yellowbird’s hit song “Pickup Truck,” which went on to become Billboard’s #6 all-time song on Canadian country radio.
