Northern Alberta Drum and Bass Community Present MetalHeadz ft John Rolodex
NAB DNB has Edmonton’s very own local legend right out the gates – hot off the Metalheadz roster – John Rolodex.
John Rolodex is a pioneering DnB artist from Edmonton, Canada. Releasing music on acclaimed labels for nearly 20 years, he is considered one of the seminal international artists in North America. His early releases on Ray Keith’s Dread Recordings lead to global recognition of his signature heavyweight sound and support from every major figure in the genre as well as numerous spins by the venerable John Peel (OBE) on his iconic BBC Radio 1 show.
John quickly garnered the attention of DnB figurehead Goldie, leading to releases on his Metalheadz imprint and an ongoing affiliation with the imprint which continues today. His Rainmaker EP (October 2020) received critical acclaim and widespread support among the key figures in DnB.
