What is PAWSplay? It”s cosplay for your pets! Bring your favorite furry friend to Edmonton’s first PAWSplay Pet Parade. A socially distant, masks required (for humans) meet up with your furry family in cosplay. Costumes can be bought, made, small, elaborate, old or new, depending on your level of comfort. The parade will start at 1:30pm and we will all create a socially distant line around the park.
Bring your cameras and be ready to snap some super cute photos!
Please note:
- Pets must be well behaved and in their owners control at all times to participate in the event.
- We will be socially distancing for this event as we walk the route, so be prepared for that.
- Please wear a face mask for this event–bonus points if it has a nerdy design.
- There is a 50 person cap for this event, so if you are planning to bring a friend, have them RSVP too so we can control the numbers.
- Once you’ve RSVPed, keep your eyes peeled for additional email communications with more details on the specific meeting spot and walking route.

1:00 PM | Meet Up – We will meet and gather for half an hour as we wait for attendees to show up.
1:30 PM | Parade Start – We will start the parade, keeping 6′ apart at all times as we parade through the park.
