Events Description

Traverse the haunted terrain of Rosenthal for some sweet treats

Join the Rosenthal Community League in its first ever Haunted Hunt!

Kids of all ages are invited to dress in their Halloween costume and navigate the field by the Rosenthal Playground with a map identifying spooky flags. Once locating all the flags, participants will arrive at the end to receive a reward of sweet treats.

Kids over the age of 9 years may be able to complete the hunt on their own (at the discretion of their parent/guardian). Kids under the age of 9 years will require adult support to participate in the fun.

Due to COVID-19 protocols, participants must arrive and begin their hunt within a 15 minute window (you will chose a time at the registration window).

There is a maximum of 12 individuals in each window. When registering, you must select the number of tickets you require for each individual that will attend the event (i.e. for a family of two parents and two children, you must select 4 tickets when registering).

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to be a community league member to participate?

No! This event is open to all individuals regardless of which community you live in. However, if you do live in Rosenthal we would love for you to purchase a membership and support future events and programs!

Is there a cost?

No! This event is free to all. Happy Halloween!

Are there age requirements to participate?

No! However, kids under the age of 9 years will require an adult to support them in locating the spooky flags.

Is there a minimum/maximum number of attendees required for this event?

There is no minimum. However, we do have a maximum number of attendees due to Alberta Health Services COVID-19 prevention measures. A maximum of 12 individuals will be able to begin their hunt in each 15 minute window. If all windows fill up, we may consider extending the time of the event to offer additional windows. Please register for the waitlist if you would like to be notified of additional windows.

What COVID-19 preventative measures are in place?

We have limited the number of individuals gathering to participate in this event by offering staggered start times every 15 minutes. In addition, participants will begin the event in one location, and end the event in a different location to maintain the flow of traffic in one direction (as much as possible).

Participants will be directed to not attend in the event if they are experiencing any symptoms, and will be asked to respect physical distancing directions. There will be limited volunteers interacting with participants when handing out the maps and treats.

Masks are welcomed, but not required as the event is entirely outdoors.

I can see the amazing programs the Rosenthal Community League offers. How do I purchase a community league membership so I can participate in future events and support the development of a strong community?

Family memberships can be purchased through the CommuniBee app or via the web (https://app.communibee.ca/#/register?community=ROSENTHAL)

If you have already purchased a membership through other means you may already be registered for CommuniBee with the e-mail address that you provided us. Please use the Forgot Password link to reset your password.
