Based on the format of a poetry slam, a science slam is a competition which brings together scientists, educators, students, performers, and nerds to share their science with a captive audience.
Previous Science Slams have seen everything from rapping about gravity waves, to clowns teaching science safety, to ukulele ballads about robotic limbs.
