With the legalization of cannabis Alberta is seeing a period of prohibition go up in smoke for the first time in nearly 100 years. Walk with us through Alberta’s prohibitive past as we take you on a special tour of the Legislature Building. Prohibition and prostitution, gambling and grow-ops: let us introduce you to the rowdier side of Alberta’s history and the legislation that has tried to rein it in.
